A riot was organized in Etah district of UP on Wednesday. This event took place in Sakrauli village of Jalesar development block area. ‘…Hey, this charkha bet was played and this is what happened. Look how that wrestler has defeated his opponent by twisting Multani’s leg. Some similar scenes were seen in the wrestling match. Wrestlers from Braj had dominance in this. The last wrestling match was won by local Ranga wrestler from Varanasi wrestler.
The inauguration was done by National President of BKU (Kisan) Pawan Thakur and village head Pawan Prajapati. Apart from Jhansi, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Unnao, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Hathras districts of the state, national level wrestlers from the states like Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc. also participated in the Dangal.
They tried various tricks on each other. People were thrilled to see them. As the wrestlers performed their tricks, the spectators used to encourage them with thunderous applause. To see these tricks, the audience remained in the queue for about five hours.
The last wrestling match of the first 31000 took place between Ranga wrestler of Sakrauli and Lalji wrestler of Varanasi. In which Ranga wrestler defeated Varanasi wrestler. The second last wrestling match ended in a draw between Rajesh wrestler Semra and Gunga wrestler Hathras. No wrestler came before Surti Pahalwan, the champion of Khelo game.
The Dangal Committee honored him and presented him with a memento. At the same time, the committee honored Ranga wrestler, who had won the wrestling match for three consecutive years, by wearing a silver crown. BKU State President Satendra Singh, Shiv Pratap Singh, former MLA Ranjit Suman, Pushpendra Singh, Moti Thakur, Pinka Thakur, Villa etc. were present.
