Ingredients to make Potato Paratha
Potato – 1/2 kg
Flour – 2 bowls
Onion – 1 cup (optional)
Green chili – 5-6
Green coriander – 1/2 cup
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

Potato Paratha Recipe
To make potato paratha, first boil the potatoes. After this, peel off the potatoes and put them in a big mixing bowl and mash them well. Now finely chop green chillies, coriander leaves and onions. After this, put them in potatoes and mix them well. Now add coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt and cumin to this mixture and mix well. Stuffing for Aloo Paratha is ready.
Now take flour in a plate, add a pinch of salt to it and knead the dough by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that the dough has to be kneaded a little soft. After this keep the dough aside for 10 minutes. After the fixed time, take the dough and knead it once more and then make balls out of it.

Now take a nonstick griddle and put it on the gas to heat it on medium flame. Meanwhile, take a ball and roll it round. After rolling a little, place the potato stuffing in the center and close it to make a ball. After this flatten the ball slightly and then roll the paratha again. Meanwhile, when the griddle is hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around and put the rolled paratha on top.

Turn the paratha after about 30-40 seconds and roast it on the other side by applying oil. Roast the potato paratha by turning it till it becomes golden and crispy from both the sides. After this take out the paratha in a plate. Repeating the same process, prepare potato parathas with the remaining balls and spices. Now put butter on top of the hot paratha and serve it with chutney or sauce for breakfast.
