In the three districts of Moradabad division (Moradabad, Sambhal and Amroha), 23,022 customers have bought new BSNL SIMs within two months. The sale of BSNL SIMs has increased three times in July as compared to June. In two months, 5,197 customers of private companies have ported their SIMs to BSNL.

Moradabad division (telephone) comprises three districts Moradabad, Sambhal and Amroha. Since July 3, private telecom companies have increased tariff plans, since then the sale of BSNL SIMs in Moradabad division has been increasing continuously. In Moradabad division, 16,806 customers have purchased BSNL SIMs in July.
In the month of June, 6,216 customers bought BSNL SIMs. In about two months, 23,022 new customers have joined BSNL. BSNL Deputy General Manager Surendra Singh Bartwal said that along with buying new BSNL SIMs, customers are also porting SIMs of private companies. He said that BSNL is expected to increase its customer base by 24 thousand this month.
In July, 20 times more customers ported their SIM to BSNL
In about two months, 5197 customers of private companies have ported their SIMs to BSNL. In Moradabad division, 4947 customers have ported their SIMs to BSNL in July, while in June, 250 customers of private companies had ported their SIMs to BSNL. In July, about 20 times more customers have ported their SIMs to BSNL than in June.
