BSNL 5G: The country’s leading telecom company Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel started 5G network from some major cities of the country last year. Since then, both the telecom operators are continuously expanding the 5G network. Telecom companies have claimed 30 to 40 percent better internet speed on 5G network as compared to 4G and people getting better calling experience than before. Customers are also fast switching to 5G network and want to enjoy high speed internet. At present, there are only two such telecom operators in the country who are providing 5G service to the people. Meanwhile, the good news is that Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL is also going to launch its 5G network across the country soon. Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told that BSNL’s 5G network will be launched by April 2024. He said that at present the company is focusing on 4G which will be rolled out soon. Within 1 year of 4G network, it will be upgraded to 5G network. BSNL is currently working on 4G network in collaboration with TCS and CDOT. The Telecom Minister said this while introducing Airtel and Jio 5G service in Odisha. So there is good news for BSNL users that by the year 2024, the company’s 5G network and before that 4G network will be available to them.

Airtel-Jio’s 5 network reached so many cities

Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel started 5G network only last year. Since then, Jio’s 5G service has been available in more than 75 cities. At the same time, Bharti Airtel has also covered more than 40 cities so far. At present, no company has introduced a separate 5G plan but users have been given 5G eligibility on some existing plans. That is, they will be able to enjoy 5G internet only on old plans. However, you will be able to take advantage of 5G internet only when you have a 5G smartphone and 5G network is available in your circle.
