The first part of this project is likely to start in 2026. According to the information, Japan’s Shinkansen E-5 series bullet train will run on it, whose nose (front part of the train) is 15 meters long. Let us tell you that the journey of these trains running at a speed of 320 km per hour is considered the safest. But these trains cannot run on the common Indian track, for this a separate track will be laid.

These are ballast-less tracks and provide great stability to the train. This track system mainly has four parts. The first is the RC track over the viaduct, cement asphalt mortar, pre-cast track slab and fastening device. This special track is being prepared in Gujarat.

Indigenous Bullet Train

According to the information, planning is going on to make indigenous bullet train in India. . This train will be built on the lines of Vande Bharat train. The designing of such high-speed trains is being developed in the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) of Chennai. Railways has to work on special planning for trains with a speed of 250 kilometers per hour, because Vande Bharat trains are already operating in the country, whose top speed goes up to 220 kilometers per hour.
