Aligarh city’s businessman Dev Suman Goyal, who is involved in the business of lending money on interest, was sent to jail by the police on 17th July. The businessman was arrested from Ghaziabad in connection with a case registered in the police station and some warrants issued by the court. He was hiding in Ghaziabad for a long time. However, after this arrest, there was a lot of pressure on the police. But, the police presented the businessman before the remand magistrate. From where he was sent to jail.

It is told that a case was registered in Bannadevi police station in February 2023 by businessman Pradeep Singhal. In which businessman Devsuman Goyal, resident of Awas Vikas Masoodabad, was accused of giving him cheques of eighty lakh rupees as guarantee. They were also paid. Despite this, he neither returned the cheques nor misused them. When he sent his sons to him, he threatened and misbehaved with them and drove them away.
The police registered a case in the matter. In this case, the court issued non-bailable warrants and attachment orders. The local police was looking for him. He was arrested from Ghaziabad on Tuesday. Ghaziabad police was also asked for help in this. After which he was brought here and sent to jail after being produced in court on Wednesday. According to Inspector Bannadevi Pankaj Mishra, apart from this case, there were warrants from the court against Devsuman in some other cases as well.
