After the implementation of CAA, ABP Live spoke to advocate, Kamlesh Mishra. During this he said that whatever effect it has will not be seen so soon. Many states had said that this law should not be implemented, on which Mr. Mishra said that CAA law is an inclusive law. This law says that we will give citizenship to those who have come from countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan. It does not say that we will not give citizenship or that we will expel anyone.
Advocate, Kamlesh Mishra said that participation of state governments will be necessary in this. Although it cannot be said that they will be able to completely stop it, states can create some restrictions. He said that it also has to be seen who will be the implementing agency. In many places the government has promoted online a lot. If it is considered that the application is online then the application will be online. But work like verification will be done through FRRO.

Kamlesh Mishra said that most of the state police officers in the states have the responsibility of this type of work. Therefore, the implementing agency becomes the state somewhere. Because these police officers are under the control of the states, they can put pressure on them. He said that granting citizenship is completely in the hands of the Central Government. The state cannot grant citizenship to any country. He said that the final decision in the matter of citizenship will be taken by the Government of India only.
