Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra on Thursday reviewed two important projects of Mahakumbh-2025 through video conferencing. In this, instructions were given to quickly complete the tender process and start the work for the ropeway at Sangam and the lying Hanuman temple corridor. Prayagraj Development Authority was directed to settle the cases related to land acquisition from the Army for both the projects.

PDA Vice President Arvind Chauhan was instructed to provide land to the army at other places under the equal value land scheme. For this, instructions were given to complete both the projects in time before Mahakumbh by obtaining no objection certificate from ASI and other concerned departments as soon as possible. With this, expectations of running the cable car at Sangam before Mahakumbh have increased.

According to officials, now the tender process for the ropeway will be completed. After this, the work will be started after transferring the land. After the completion of this project, devotees coming to Prayagraj will now be able to see the views of Sangam, Akshayvat, Saraswati Kupa, Magh Mela and Kumbh Mela from the cable car. For the first time, cable car service will be available here for saints, devotees and tourists. For this, ropeway stations will be built between Triveni Pushp and Shankar Viman Mandapam in Arail.
