According to experts, if a Burmese python is 14 to 15 feet long, then it can swallow a 4 to 5 feet tall human being. According to experts of the journal Reptiles and Amphibians, when the Burmese python swallows a large animal, it widens its jaws by more than 90 percent. In the deer case, the Burmese python had widened its jaws by 93 percent.
