A woman has given a very unique message to people to recognize the value of time. This is the story of a woman who was living a healthy life. Then suddenly health problems took such a form that she came to know that she has a fatal cancer. Today she does not know how much time she has, but she has found a unique way to make people realize the importance of cancer research and time.
Melbourne resident Emily Leahy is one of thousands of Australians who face this reality. 31-year-old Emily suffers from NUT carcinoma. This is a rare, aggressive cancer in which a person can survive for an average of six to nine months. Now she is in the news because of her unique work.
Leahy is auctioning off portions of her precious leftover time to strangers in Sydney this weekend as part of a living artwork, Time to Live. As people spend time with Leahy, an imposing projection of a timer counts down from three minutes, ticking down the moments they have spent together.

This “once in a lifetime” experience aims to highlight the emotional and psychological burden of living with or being involved with someone with a terminal diagnosis, while emphasizing the importance of cancer research.
Before she was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 27, Leah was fit and healthy. She never thought she could have a disease like cancer. 7NEWS.com.au According to her, she suffered from sinusitis and headaches for a long time, only then did the doctors realise that her usual symptoms were something more sinister.
Scans found a “cricket ball-sized mass” in her sinuses and skull bone, an incurable disease known to shorten the life span of patients. Doctors don’t know how much time Leahy has left. It’s all been a rollercoaster ride, according to Leahy. It was a time when she struggled to think about the next day, the weekend, the next month.
