After 10 pm and before 6 am

According to the rules of Indian Railways, Travel Ticket Examiner i.e. TTE checks the tickets of the passengers traveling in the train. Often you are seen checking these tickets on the platform also. Indian Railways has some rules regarding ticket checking in trains. These rules are not applicable for passengers but for TTE. For the convenience of passengers, Railways has made a rule that no one will come to check tickets from 10 pm to 6 am. However, if your travel time is after 10:00 pm, then this rule does not apply.

The time between 10 pm to 6 am is the sleeping time for passengers, hence some rules have been made for this in Indian Railways. According to the rules of Indian Railways, passengers are prohibited from playing or listening to loud music at night. . Along with this, the passenger sitting in the lower berth can also ask the passenger sitting in the middle berth to go to his/her seat.
