Firefighters extinguish a fire in a car

On the late night of 26 May, near Barsai village on the Agra-Aligarh highway, a car collided with a tree while trying to save a Nilgai. The car and the tree caught fire. The car owner was also seriously injured in the accident. On receiving the information, the police and fire brigade reached the spot and somehow extinguished the fire.
By the time the fire was extinguished, the car and the tree had burnt to ashes. Actually, late on Sunday night, Sumit Kumar, son of Premchand, a resident of Gijaroli in Hathras, was going to Aligarh for some work in his Baleno car. As soon as he reached near village Barsai on the Agra-Aligarh highway, a Nilgai came in front of his car, due to which his car lost balance and collided with a tree standing nearby. Sumit was seriously injured in the accident. Sumit acted courageously, opened the car window and got out and informed the police. Police and fire brigade reached the spot. By the time the fire brigade personnel extinguished the fire, the car and the goods kept in it were burnt to ashes.
On the other hand, Premchand Sharma, son of Roshanlal, resident of Hathras, was returning to the warehouse after unloading his truck full of LPG from Kosi in Mathura district. As soon as the truck reached near Radhe Garden of the town, smoke started coming out from the rear of the truck. Seeing the smoke coming out, the passersby informed the truck driver about it. Seeing the smoke, the driver was shocked. There was a stampede on the spot. The driver informed the police and the fire brigade of the fire department about this. The fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
