The events that happened in Aligarh’s Mamu Bhanja area are not yet resolved. Amidst political interference in the matter, both the parties are adamant on their demands. On the other hand, in view of the political interference, the police have registered a case against Ajju Ishaque, former SP city president and two-time election winner from Kol seat, for his controversial statement. The accused businessman’s side has also sent a changed complaint to the police. The police is considering registering a case on it.
After the incident that took place in Mamu Bhanja of Gandhi Park on the night of June 18, when the body was kept in the district hospital, SP leader Ajju Ishaq standing near the body announced that even if bullets are fired, the body will not be buried until the accused are arrested. This statement was recorded on video and made viral. On the basis of this statement, BJP and the business side were demanding a case from the very first day accusing him of making inflammatory statements.
Till now the police was adopting an evasive attitude in this case. But on Monday a meeting was held at the Sangh office with BJP, traders’ side, accused side and some people. Sangh officials were also present in the meeting. Voices were raised on this issue from the level of these officials. In this sequence, Malkhan Singh District Hospital Outpost Incharge of Bannadevi Police Station has filed a case against Ajju Ishaque in Bannadevi Police Station. In which sections related to creating animosity by giving controversial statements etc. have been imposed.
Here, the police has not registered a case on the complaint given by the accused businessman on the first day. Which has been changed. On Monday, this complaint was sent after the meeting held at the Sangh office at the SSP residence. It is written in this complaint that Aurangzeb and his companions entered the house for loot. During the robbery, the family was threatened with weapons and the women were molested. The police received this complaint late in the evening. On which the police is deliberating on registering a case. Demands have also been made on issues like changing the sections of the rest of the case and removing the names of some by declaring them innocent. On which no answer has been received from the police level yet.
