A case has been registered against two people including Patanjali Yogpeeth’s secretary Balkrishna in Aligarh city’s Gandhi Park police station. In this case, the spokesperson of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has accused them of cheating him of Rs 30,000 during the online application process of the yoga camp and non-cooperation in the conversation on mobile phone. Police have registered a case under the sections of cheating and IT Act and have started investigation.
According to Dr. Ashok Pandey, spokesperson of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, resident of Beedas Compound, while filing the case, most of the people apply to join the Naturopathy Center running in Patanjali Yoga Gram of Patanjali Yoga Peeth Haridwar by getting the number on Google. Similarly, he contacted the number received from Google from his mobile number on June 10. That person said that our doctor will contact you.
After some time a call came from a new number, and the person introducing himself as Dr. Pankaj Gupta, got the online application process done for a seven day yoga camp. A form was sent which had the signature and seal of Acharya Bal Krishna. I deposited Rs 29400 from my local PNB account in the account of Patanjali Yoga Peeth, Bandhan Bank, Badadarabad branch, mentioned in it. After some time another form was sent and Rs 45000 was asked for in the name of other tests. That form too had the signature and seal of Acharya Bal Krishna.
When he got suspicious about this, he asked for his money back. On this Pankaj said that first he will deposit 45 thousand, only then the entire amount will be refunded. On this all the numbers of Patanjali were contacted. But no satisfactory answer was given from any level. On this he realized that he has been cheated. In this case, along with an online complaint to the cyber cell, a case has been registered against Acharya Bal Krishna, Dr. Pankaj and other bank officials etc. in Gandhipark police station. According to SO Gandhipark SP Singh, this case has been registered under cheating and IT Act. Investigation has been started. Further action will be taken on the basis of facts and evidence.
