Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is currently on Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. In the very important elections of 2024, Congress has talked about giving place to these major issues in its election manifesto.

In the previous elections, Congress had announced to provide unemployment allowance to every poor youth and financial assistance to every poor family. These announcements did not benefit the Congress party much. The party had also made many big announcements in the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh assembly elections held recently. The then Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot had also talked about providing free treatment up to Rs 50 lakh and providing huge financial assistance to every family. In Chhattisgarh also, Congress had announced to provide huge assistance to the people. But even in these states, Congress did not get any benefit from these big populist announcements. In such a situation, what effect his announcements will have in Delhi remains to be seen.
