Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of class 12th. 87.98 percent students from across the country have passed the class 12th examination, which is 0.65 percent more than last year. Like every year, this time too girls have topped the boys competition. The pass percentage of girls was 91.52 percent and that of boys was 85.12 percent, which is 6.40 percent more. The special thing is that out of 17 CBSE regions across the country, the result of seven regions is less than the average pass percentage, while that of ten regions is higher. Next year the board exams will be conducted from February 15. These seven regions include Dehradun, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Guwahati, Noida, and Prayagraj.
In the results of 17 CBSE regions, Trivandrum region has topped with 99.91 percent marks. While Prayagraj has been at the lowest position, the pass percentage here has been 78.25 percent. There has been an improvement of 2.75 percent in the results of Delhi. This time the pass percentage here is 94.97 percent, whereas last year it was 92.22 percent. Even though Delhi region has improved in the overall result, it has dropped from fourth position to fifth position in Delhi West region compared to last year. Their pass percentage has been 95.64 percent, while Delhi East is at sixth position with 94.51 percent pass percentage. Delhi East has retained its sixth position.
