Emoji For Evaluations CBSE Schools In Kochi: Big changes are being seen in many CBSE schools of Kochi. In fact, in these schools, children are being given emojis instead of marks or grades. The results of the children are being shown through these emojis. This change is in line with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the guidelines set by CBSE. A “holistic report card” has been introduced for students from Kindergarten to Class 2 from this academic year, which focuses on evaluating children based on their activities rather than traditional written tests.
‘Skill development and communication skills of children will improve’
At the same time, a teacher from a CBSE school in Kochi said that you can imagine the enthusiasm of the children after this new method. Imagine that instead of your marks there is an emoji. In which clapping, a star or a trophy is shown. I believe that this emoji will have a much greater impact. Also children will get better inspiration.
