CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Last Date Extended Till 10 January ann


Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date of application for Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme. Now girl students can apply for this scholarship till January 10, 2025. Earlier, the last date of application was fixed as 31 December 2024. Along with this, the last date to complete the verification process from the school has been extended till January 17, 2025.

Under this scheme of CBSE, financial assistance is provided to girl students who score good marks in their class 10th examination and who are the only children of their parents. The objective of this scholarship is to promote education among single girl children and provide them financial support for their studies.

Under CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship, an assistance of Rs 500 is given every month to girl students. Girl students wishing to apply for this scholarship will have to apply by visiting the official website of CBSE www.cbse.gov.in. What is important?

The girl students applying will have to fulfill certain conditions. The most important condition is that the candidate should be unmarried and the only child of his parents. Also, the student should have obtained at least 60% marks in the class 10th examination conducted by CBSE. Apart from this, the student must be enrolled to study in class 11th and 12th from a CBSE school only. During the application process, girl students will also have to fill some important information, like name, bank details (bank name, account number, and bank address) etc.
