The Central and Bihar governments are determined, now those who take advantage of the schemes will also know this. On one hand, the state government is expecting a package from the Center regarding the economic condition, and on the other hand, it has stopped the central scheme running in the name of PM and started it in the name of CM. In the scheme with PM, 50 percent state share used to go, now the scheme in the name of CM has been started with 100 percent state share. That scheme in the name of PM has been completely stopped in the state. The cabinet has approved it.

Told the reason that the center is not giving the ninth and tenth
In the first cabinet meeting of the new year, it has been decided that the PM Yashasvi scheme will be discontinued in the state. The reason given was that in this central scheme, scholarship was being given to the students of class 1st to 8th, but not to the students of class 9th and 10th. On this basis, while discontinuing the central scheme, the state government will give scholarship to 1.25 crore students from class 1st to 10th. The scheme launched by the state has been named ‘Chief Minister Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme’.

Will get scholarship of Rs 50 to 150 per month
After the decision of the cabinet, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. S. Siddharth told that scholarship will be given under this scheme from the financial year 2022-23 itself. As it is clear from the name, the students of backward and extremely backward classes will be entitled to the scheme. The condition will be that the student should study in government school, government recognized or establishment approved school. In this, a scholarship of Rs 50 per month will be given to students of classes I to IV, Rs 100 per month to students of classes V-VI and Rs 150 per month to students of classes VII to X. Under the scheme, students studying in hostels will be given a scholarship of Rs 250 per month.
