‘CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba is speaking’, Reserve Bank received a threatening call


Threatening call to RBI: Reserve Bank of India has received a threatening call. This call was made on the customer care number of the Reserve Bank. The person calling said that he is the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba. This call came on the customer care number of the Reserve Bank at around 10 am on Saturday morning.

The person on the phone had said, “He is the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba and hung up the phone saying close the back way. The electric car has broken down.”

Police filed complaint

Taking this incident seriously, a case has been registered at Mata Ramabai Marg Police Station as per the complaint given by the security guard of the Reserve Bank. However, the police suspect that someone has done this mischievous act. The police have started their investigation.

Mumbai law firm also received threat

Earlier on Thursday (14 November), Mumbai’s JSA law firm Ballard Pair and JSA office Kamla Mill Lower Pearl had received an email containing a bomb threat. The name Farzan Ahmed was written on the email ID of this threatening mail company. It was written in this mail that bombs have been placed in the office of JFA firm and the office of Ballard Estate. After receiving the information, the police immediately started investigating the matter.

Such cases are coming to light continuously

In the last two to three months, bomb threats on schools, hotels, airports, markets, trains, buses etc. are continuously increasing. On October 27, a CISF jawan was threatened at Mumbai airport. It was said that if the airplane blows up, no one will survive. During investigation this threat was found to be false.
