Jaisalmer. For the last few days, an atmosphere of panic is being seen among the people in Pokaran police station of Jaisalmer due to the rumor of Chaddi gang being active. People have stopped coming out of their homes at night and discussions about this gang have also intensified in the city.
Is there really any Chaddi gang active in Pokaran or not?
To know this, we talked to Pokhran CI Jaikishan Soni and he told that rumors of Chaddi gang being active in Pokhran are spreading on social media due to which there is an atmosphere of fear among the people. But no such case has come to light in Pokhran, it is just a rumor on social media. Don’t pay attention to this and there is no need to be afraid.
Viral video is not related to the case
Jaishankar Soni said that Pokaran police is continuously patrolling by forming teams. Every suspicious activity is being monitored by forming a team. CI said that the video which is going viral on social media is of the incident that happened in Jodhpur last 5 days, the rumor of which has been spread by claiming it to be Pokaran.
CCTV footage went viral
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, CCTV footage of Chaddi gang in Jodhpur had gone viral in which they were seen peeping into the houses with sharp weapons in their hands. The same video is being viral on social media as being of Pokaran, after which there is an atmosphere of panic among the people, but now CI Jaikishan Soni has put an end to these rumors by talking to him.
