Chaitra Navratri 2024 Day 9 Maa Siddhidhatri Puja: The time of Navratri is most important for worshiping the nine forms of Goddess Durga. The devotee who worships the nine forms of Mother with full devotion during these 9 days of Navratri, attains all four Purusharthas (Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha).
Chaitra Navratri has started on 09 April 2024 and the ninth or last day of Navratri is on Wednesday 17 April 2024. Ram Navami also happens on this day. Mother Siddhidatri will be worshiped on the last day of Navratri. Because the presiding deity of the ninth day of Navratri is Mother Goddess Siddhidatri. Every kind of success is achieved by worshiping them. Eight siddhis have been described in Markandeya Purana and eighteen in Brahmavaivarta Purana.
- Siddhis written in Markandeya Purana: Anima, glory, dignity, ladhima prapti, prakamya, ishitva and vashitva.

If we believe the evidence of Devi Purana, then Lord Shiva had attained Siddhi by the grace of Mother Siddhidatri. Lord Shiva attained the form of Ardhanarishwar because of this goddess. Maa Siddhidatri has four arms, Chakra in the lower right hand, mace in the upper, checker in the lower left hand and lotus in the upper hand. She is sitting on a lotus which is mounted on a lion. Their mantra is:-
Siddha Gandharva Yakshadyairsurairamairaripi.
Sevyamana always bhuyat siddhida siddhidayini.

By worshiping Mother Siddhidatri one attains the supreme position. Their worship grants salvation. By worshiping them all the wishes are fulfilled. Such a divine miracle happens that no wish is left. We become aware of the impermanence of the world. That’s why we think beyond worldly matters. After getting the company of that goddess, we start drinking the nectar of nectar.
But to reach this state, extreme penance is required. Today is the last day of Navratri. According to Devi Purana 3.30.59–60, after concluding the Navratri fast with a happy heart, Shri Ramchandraji, after performing Vijaya Puja on Dashami Tithi and making various donations, left for Lanka from Kishkindha mountain.
