The havoc of cold is increasing in Bihar. For the last few days, a drop in temperature has been recorded in many districts. Bhagalpur remained the coldest district in the last 24 hours. Here in Sabour area a temperature of 8.4 degrees Celsius was recorded. Children and elderly people are falling ill due to increasing cold. Not only this, the death of two students due to cold has also come to light in Jamui and Motihari. The first case is of Adarsh Madhya Vidyalaya Chakia of Chakia block of Motihari. Here on Wednesday a class six student fell unconscious. The school management took him to the hospital but he died. The student has been identified as Manish Kumar, 15-year-old son of Rajesh Ram, resident of Baisaha village.
A student suddenly fell unconscious in Bettiah
In Bettiah also on Wednesday, fourth class student Jyoti Kumari (10) fell unconscious in her class room. The parents of the children became upset due to these incidents. Whereas, earlier on Saturday, a student named Sumit Kumar had died in Jamui due to cold. He was seven years old. It was told that Sumit started vomiting after having a headache during school holidays. After this his mother got him treated from a nearby village doctor. When his condition started becoming serious on Monday morning, his family took him to the clinic. He died here.
Meteorologist said – cold will increase, be careful
The meteorologist said that the cold is likely to increase in the next seven days. Wind speed will decrease. Kankani is expected to increase. The effect of fog will increase. Fog will be seen in many areas in the morning. Drivers are appealed to drive very carefully. There is no chance of rain. However, the situation of cold wave is not visible yet. With the kind of cold that is occurring, death cannot occur normally. Whatever death is being reported is being investigated. People who have any heart problem or were ill before, should be a little cautious. The meteorologist said that children and elderly people should protect themselves from cold. Leave the house only wearing warm clothes. Exercise caution in all circumstances.
