Chandrashekhar Azad announces that Azad Samaj Party will contest on 403 seats in UP assembly election 2027 Tension to Akhilesh Yadav BJP

Azad Samaj Party’s national president and current MP from Nagina Lok Sabha seat Chandrashekhar Azad has made a big announcement. He said that now our party will contest the upcoming elections on 403 assembly seats across the state on its own.

After the Lok Sabha elections are over, all the parties have started preparing for the upcoming assembly elections. Now it is being claimed that in 2027, Samajwadi Party and Congress together are preparing to oust BJP from power.

Amidst all this, a new player has now entered the politics of Uttar Pradesh. His name is Chandra Shekhar Azad. Azad Samaj Party chief Chandra Shekhar Azad has infused new energy into the party by winning the Nagina Lok Sabha seat during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Meanwhile, when Bhim Army chief Chandra Shekhar, who reached Ayodhya on June 13, was asked about the 2027 assembly elections, he said that his party will contest 403 seats on its own in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections. Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad has surprised everyone from Nagina Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh. Chandrashekhar has won the Nagina seat by 1 lakh 51 thousand 473 votes. During this time he got 5 lakh 12 thousand 552 votes. While the BJP candidate stood second in this election. He got more than 3 lakh votes.

Apart from this, Samajwadi Party candidate Manoj Kumar got 1 lakh 3 thousand 274 votes. If we talk about UP’s Nagina Lok Sabha seat, then this seat is considered very interesting. Nagina seat is not considered a stronghold of any party. Also, another specialty of this seat is that no MP is elected from here again. However, last time MP from Nagina Lok Sabha seat Girish Chandra went to Bulandshahr this time. In his place, Bahujan Samaj Party fielded Surendra Pal Singh.

The fight for Nagina seat was made interesting by Azad Samaj Party chief Chandra Shekhar Azad. In fact, Chandra Shekhar had camped on this seat since the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. After one and a half years, it was expected that he would get a seat to stake claim from the SP and RLD Congress India alliance. But, just before the elections, Jayant Chaudhary joined hands with BJP. At the same time, SP fielded its candidate from Nagina.

After the SP candidate was declared from Nagina, it became clear that there was no direct talk between Akhilesh Yadav and Chandrashekhar regarding the candidature. It was said that Chandrashekhar had not asked for support from SP. That is why Akhilesh fielded his own candidate.
