On September 12, near Khereshwar crossing of Thana Lodha area in Aligarh, during rain, a Scorpio car coming at high speed threw mud on a bike rider passing on the road, first there was an argument, then later there was a ruckus with fighting and firing. Meanwhile, the bike rider’s companions who reached there started hitting the car with sticks in the presence of police. The youths in the car were also beaten up. Firing was also done. Due to this three people were injured. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The police have registered a case and arrested one accused and he is being questioned.

The incident happened on 12th September at 12:30 pm. Naveen Kumar, a resident of Keshopur Jofri village of Lodha police station area, was going to village Nehra to get medicine in his Scorpio car. While turning towards Lodha from Khereshwar crossing in Roravar police station area, the car splashed water and mud on three people riding a bike passing by. On which the bike riders stopped the car. Then they started beating the young man driving the car badly.

When there was a commotion, the local people intervened, but the bike riders were very angry with this incident. They called some of their other friends on the phone. Around 10-12 youths who arrived on two bikes and a car started creating a ruckus at Khereshwar intersection. They broke the glass panes of the car with sticks. It is alleged that the youths waved pistols openly. Seeing this, people got panicked. Waving pistols, the youths reached the Lodha police station area on the other side of the road and attacked the son and brother of confectioner Ramu Pandit. In the firing, Ramu Pandit’s son got injured after being shot in the hand.
