Chat GPT Ban: Open AI made Chat GPT live last year. In just a week, this chatbot did what big tech giants could not do. Chat GPT is an AI tool based on Artificial Intelligence in which all publicly available data has been fed by the company. This AI tool is being used all over the world today and people are doing many of their work with it. Be it writing a poem for school, letter for office or anything else, this chatbot can do many things in seconds. Although this chatbot, which is gaining popularity worldwide, has recently been banned in another country. Let us know what is the reason.
banned because of this
Chat GPT has been banned by the Italian government. Actually, the government says that this chatbot is collecting private information of people which is not correct. Also, there is no option for minimum age verification in this AI tool. In such a situation, it can give sensitive information to minors, which can have a wrong effect in their development. Italy’s data protection officials say that this chatbot first collects personal information of people and then it is trained accordingly. Officials say that this is playing with the privacy of the people.
openAI said this
On banning Chat GPT, Open AI said that the company uses little or no personal data of people to train AI tools. The aim of the company is to tell people about the world and not to keep the personal details of the people among everyone. Italy has given Open AI 20 days to submit all the documents on how the company uses the data. If Open AI is unable to document or address this issue, the company will be fined $20 million, or 4% of gross revenue.
