JIO 5G: Veteran telecom company Reliance Jio has introduced a new plan for its users. The company is giving the benefit of 5G internet to the customers for just Rs 61. Actually, Indian Airtel and Reliance Jio started 5G network from some major cities of the country last year. Since then, both the telecom companies are continuously expanding the 5G network. Reliance Jio’s 5G network is based on stand-alone technology while Bharti Airtel has expanded 5G by taking support from 4G infrastructure.
Only this will be available in Rs 61 plan
You will get 6 GB data in Reliance Jio’s Rs 61 plan. This is a data voucher plan. You will not get any other benefit in this. This data voucher will work on top of your existing plan. That is, there is no validity of this data voucher. However, you can avail this data voucher only on plans of Rs 119, 149, 179,199 or Rs 209 as all recharge plans above this come with 5G eligibility. That is, you get 5G internet on all the plans above this.
Upgrading to 5G requires this work
If you are a Jio user and you have a 5G mobile phone and 5G service is also available in your area, then you will have to recharge Rs 239 under the Jio Welcome Offer, after which you can enjoy 5G internet. All plans above Rs 239 come with 5G eligibility.
