Chennai IAF Air Show: Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft displayed their power and combat skills in the sky of Marina in Chennai and filled the people present here with thrill on Sunday (6 October 2024). The demonstration began with a display of daring skills by the commandos of the Special Garud Force of the Indian Air Force in a mock hostage rescue operation.

The 92nd Indian Air Force Day celebrations held at the marina between the lighthouse and Chennai port were attended by Air Chief Marshal Amarpreet Singh, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, various state ministers, Chennai Mayor R. Priya and many other dignitaries were present.

Amazing view in the sky
Due to the clear sky, Indian Air Force aircraft displayed a spectacular aerial show. People gathered on the sandy beach displayed their umbrellas for aerial photography by Indian Air Force aircraft at the end of the show at 1 pm. 72 aircraft participated in this air display, which will be recorded in the Limca Book of World Records.
