Chhapra Mob Lynching: Siwan’s Youth Who Came To Sell Banned Meat In Chhapra Was Beaten To Death, Sarpanch Arrested

A youth resident of Siwan district became a victim of mob lynching at Rasulpur in Chhapra district. It is alleged that the youth had come to sell banned meat. In such a situation, the villagers caught him and beat him fiercely. There, the young man died during treatment. At present, the police have arrested the sarpanch involved in the thrashing.

It is alleged that Naseeb Qureshi and his nephew Firoz Ahmad Qureshi were coming to their home in MS Nagar Hasanpura via Rasulpur (Chhapra) police station on Tuesday morning via Jogia Masjid in Jogia village. Only then the sarpanch of Jogia village gathered with his companions. As soon as Naseeb Qureshi’s vehicle reached there, he was thrashed with sticks, sticks and sharp weapons, and he died on the way while being taken to Patna for treatment.

The deceased Naseeb Qureshi was a resident of MH Nagar Hasanpura police station area. At present, a pall of gloom has descended on the family members and the entire village. Firoz Ahmed Qureshi, the nephew of the deceased said, we were going to our home in MH Nagar Hasanpura via Jogia village under Chhapra Rasulpur police station area. When Jogia reached near the mosque, he saw that the sarpanch was with 10-15 people. Both Naseeb Qureshi and Firoz got down from the car and started running. Firoz managed to escape, but Naseeb Qureshi was caught by the mob and thrashed so much that he died on the way to Patna hospital. Sushil Singh, Ravi Shah and Ujjwal Sharma have been arrested in this case. The three accused, residents of Jogia of Rasulpur, have been arrested by the team formed under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sadar.
