This time the Chaitra Chhath festival started on 12th April with Nahay Khay. It will conclude with offering Arghya to the rising sun on 15th April.

132 magistrates and police officers deployed at the ghats
Arrangements have been made to offer Arghya in 41 Ganga ghats and seven ponds in Patna. Better arrangements have been made for barricading, cleanliness, security, changing rooms and lighting at the ghats. Two thousand soldiers along with 132 magistrates and police officers will be deployed at 76 places under the leadership of 23 sector officers.
