Chhattisgarh Coronavirus Cases: Along with the heat, the increase in corona infection in the month of April has increased the concern of the people. On Tuesday, 15 new infected were again confirmed by the Health Department. Due to which the number of active cases has increased to 24 in Surguja district. There are 38 active patients in Surguja division. There are 4 patients in Balrampur 6, Surajpur 4, Korea 0 and Jashpur in the division. Due to common symptoms of cold, cough and fever, doctors have advised home isolation to most of the patients. Here, on the instructions of the government, preparations have been started by the health department to increase the capacity of samples.
Patients arriving for seasonal diseases in hospitals are being advised to get a sample test done. However, at present, people are still negligent towards getting the corona test done. Even after having common symptoms of corona, instead of getting tested, most of the patients are buying and consuming medicines directly. However, it is a matter of relief that people are getting healthy by taking traditional medicines for viral fever. Even after three to four days, if the fever does not subside, people are reaching the health center for a checkup. On the instructions of the Collector, beds are being prepared along with the availability of medicines in the Medical College Hospital as well as in the Community Health Centers.
Most patients reaching the Department of Medicine
At present, the maximum number of patients are reaching the medicine department of the biggest medical college hospital in Surguja division. There is a crowd of patients in front of the OPD, due to which it is very important to take precautions in the hospital. Due to negligence, even normal viral patients in the crowd are at risk of getting infected by coming in contact with the infected. In view of the current situation of infection, following the Corona rules has been said to be necessary by the Health Department. Patients of seasonal diseases are also reaching other government and private hospitals.
Mask in public, negligence in picketing
In view of the increasing infection of Corona, it has been made mandatory by the Surguja Collector to wear masks for the people coming for public darshan. Arrangements have been made to distribute masks to such people who reach without masks in the collectorate itself. On the other hand, negligence is being taken by the employees protesting for various demands. In such a situation, the risk of infection is increasing due to the crowd.
Collector said, Kovid test should be done on cold and cough
Necessary instructions have been issued by Surguja Collector Kundan Kumar under the guidelines of the government. Under which those with symptoms of cold, cough, cold and fever should get Covid-19 test done immediately. Elderly people and people suffering from other diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, kidney diseases and people with low immunity should avoid going to crowded places. Be sure to wear a mask if you go to crowded and less ventilated places. Cover mouth and nose with handkerchief or tissue paper while coughing and sneezing. Avoid coming in contact with people suffering from cold and flu and take care of personal hygiene and keep your hands clean from time to time.
