Five cases of corona have been reported in Bastar within the last three days. Here, to identify the new variant of Covid, the Microbiology Department of Medical College, Dimarapal will send the samples to Raipur for genome sequencing. Earlier, all the samples were sent to Bhubaneswar in Odisha for genome sequencing, because here samples were brought from all over Odisha, hence it took a lot of time to get the report.
Investigation started at airport and railway station
Sensing the danger, corona testing has been started at Maharani Hospital, Medical College, Railway Station and Airport. If the risk of infection seems to be increasing in the city, then more testing centers will be opened in the city also. Chief Health Officer of the district, Dr. RK Chaturvedi said that all efforts will be made to reduce the number of corona to zero, if the number of positive patients increases, then the closed corona testing center in the district will also be opened. The more testing is done, the speed of spread of infection will be reduced accordingly. Corona has been confirmed in 2 patients on 27 December, 1 on 28 December and 2 patients on 29 December.
