Chhattisgarh Rape Case: In the case of rape in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, the police has arrested the Assistant Branch Manager of a private bank. The assistant manager has been identified as Ratnesh Sharma. Ratnesh is accused of raping a girl on the pretext of marriage. Police has sent the accused to jail. Kotwali police station in-charge Sharad Dubey told that a girl from Kanker police station area has given a complaint.
In Tahrir, the girl said that the assistant manager of a private bank raped her on the pretext of marriage. Not only this, his video was also made. He raped her several times by blackmailing her through this video. After this, the victim complained about the matter to the Kotwali police. On the basis of the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case against the accused and arrested him.

Earlier last month, a married woman working in a bank in Dongargarh in the state had accused her colleague of forcibly having physical relations. The girl had told the police that the accused had threatened her that if she told anyone, he would defame her. After this, he repeatedly started pressuring her to have a physical relationship.

The victim told that she had to go out of the office for some work with her colleague. While returning home late at night, taking advantage of the deserted forest, he raped her. After this, he kept blackmailing her for several months and kept pressuring her to have a relationship. Fed up with this harassment, the girl told about the accused to her husband and family members and lodged a case in the police station.
