Chief Nasrallah is still alive! Hezbollah rejected Israel’s claim, IDF rained havoc on Lebanon

Israel-Lebanon Conflict: Amidst the tension between Israel and Lebanon (Middle East country), on Friday (September 27, 2024), a major airstrike was carried out by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Lebanon. This missile attack was carried out on Hezbollah’s headquarters just minutes after Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Amidst the attack, there was speculation about whether Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah was also killed in it, but the answer came from the other side that his boss is currently alive. “Just moments ago, Israeli Defense Forces launched a precision strike on the central headquarters of the Hezbollah terrorist organization. We took the necessary action to protect our people so that Israeli families can live safely and securely in their homes,” the IDF said.

2 killed, 76 injured in attack

It is being claimed in some media reports that Hassan Nasrallah also lives at the headquarters of Hezbollah in Beirut. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether Hassan Nasrallah was present in Hezbollah’s headquarters at the time of the attack or not. Lebanon’s health ministry said at least two people were killed and 76 injured in massive Israeli strikes in a Beirut suburb, AP reported.

Nasrallah is alive, Hezbollah claims

According to the report of news agency Reuters, a source close to Hezbollah has said that Hassan Nasrallah is alive after Israeli air strikes in Beirut. Israeli military radio earlier said the army was assessing whether the leader of the militant group was at its headquarters in south Beirut when it was attacked. At the same time, according to a senior Iranian security official, Iran is investigating his situation.

220 air strikes on Hezbollah

The Israeli army claimed that its air force carried out 220 air strikes in Lebanon and all the targets were linked to Hezbollah. In a statement issued by the army, it was said that the targets targeted included Hezbollah’s infrastructure, launchers and weapons storage facilities. According to news agency Xinhua, the army also attacked Hezbollah terrorists.

The army said it was continuing operations to weaken and destroy Hezbollah’s forces and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said that 23 Syrian refugees were killed in an Israeli air strike in Lebanon’s Youn area. Most of the dead were women and children. The statement accused Israel of deliberately targeting innocent civilians.

Tanks deployed near Lebanon

At the same time, the IDF said that amid increasing tension on its border with Lebanon, the Israeli Army has deployed tanks in the north. Both Israeli forces and Hezbollah continue to fire along the UN-designated ‘Blue Line’ that separates Israel and Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said 10 rockets were fired from Lebanon at Haifa on September 27, setting off sirens in the northern coastal city and suburbs. Some rockets were intercepted, while others fell in open areas, and at least one rocket reportedly fell into the sea next to Haifa. Meanwhile, the US Secretary of State said that Israeli action against Hezbollah will make it even more difficult to bring evacuated Israelis back to their homes.

Is the Israel-Hezbollah conflict a sign of a bigger war?

Israel is continuously conducting air strikes in Lebanon. He claims that he is targeting Hezbollah positions. Israel denied on Thursday that it had agreed to a ceasefire with the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah and Lebanese political parties. In a statement, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that ‘reports regarding the ceasefire are untrue.’

Let us tell you that amidst the increasing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, America and allied countries had appealed for a 21-day ceasefire. Since Monday, Israel has carried out large-scale airstrikes in Lebanon. These attacks have resulted in more than 650 deaths and more than 2,000 injuries.

Lebanon’s Environment Minister Nasser Yassin said on Wednesday that more than 150,000 people have been displaced this week due to the bombings. The reason for the recent conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is the mysterious explosions targeting pagers and walkie-talkies in Lebanon. Many people were killed and thousands were injured. Hezbollah blamed Israel for these explosions. However, Israel did not take responsibility for the blasts.

Will the entire Middle East be affected?

Two major conflicts going on in the Middle East have worried the whole world. Israel is simultaneously embroiled in a war with Hezbollah and Hamas. Many analysts and leaders have warned that if peace is not established, other countries may also get entangled in this conflict. This crisis can engulf the entire Middle East. The current circumstances do not hold much hope.

Israeli air strikes continue in Lebanon. Even in the conflict with Hezbollah, Israel is speaking the same language as it has been speaking in the fight with Hamas. This time also he says that his action will continue till the destruction of Hezbollah. However, after almost a year of military operation, it has not been able to eliminate Hamas in Gaza.
