In Firozabad, the innocent son who had gone with his mother to the fields to harvest wheat, reached the bank of the pond while playing. He drowned after slipping on the bank of the pond, resulting in his death. When the laborers working at the kiln nearby saw the child, they raised an alarm. Police have sent the body to the district hospital for post-mortem.
Sanju Kumar, a resident of Kharsuli of Matsena police station area, works as a laborer in Jaipur. Wife, two sons and two daughters lived in the village. On Thursday, Sanju Kumar’s wife Sunita Devi had gone to the field with her younger son, 11-year-old Manish Kumar, to harvest wheat. Then, while playing, the child drowned due to slipping in a pond filled with water near the brick kiln. After some time, when the workers working at the kiln saw the scene at the pond bank, they raised an alarm. Hearing the noise, the woman looked for her child, but he was not there.
When the woman reached the spot and saw her son’s dead body, she started screaming. The family members reached the spot and took the children to the hospital. Where the doctor declared him dead. The crying mother says that how did she know that she would keep harvesting wheat and her son would leave the world. The tears in mother’s eyes were not stopping. Police station in-charge Prem Shankar Pandey said that the child died after slipping into the pond while playing. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
