Ingredients to make Potato Idli
Potato – 2
Rava (semolina) – 1 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Chana dal – 1 tsp
Rai – 1/2 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Curry leaves – 7-8
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Green chili chopped – 2
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste

How to make Potato Idli
Tasty Aloo Idli will be liked by kids. To make this, first boil the potatoes and then peel them after they cool down. Now mash a potato and put it in a blender, add some water and make a smooth paste while blending. Now transfer the prepared paste in a big bowl and keep it aside. Now put oil in a small pan and heat it.

After the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, gram dal and a pinch of asafoetida and fry them. When the aroma starts coming from the spices, add semolina to it and sauté while stirring on low flame. After this, turn off the gas and take out the mixture in a bowl. When the mixture cools down, add potato paste to it and mix well.

After this add curd, green coriander leaves and a little salt and mix. After this cover the prepared batter for 15 minutes and keep it aside.
