Smartphone Manufacturing: At present, many foreign companies are manufacturing mobiles in India. In which Chinese companies are also included. According to the information, companies like Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi can soon export mobiles made in India under the ‘Make in India’ program for sale in the global market.
Rejected many times before
There are many Chinese mobile manufacturing companies in India, which produce smartphones. Till now the sale of these mobiles was limited to the Indian market only. But according to the news, these companies are now planning to open the doors of the global market for mobile phones made in India. Due to which China’s export share can be reduced.
After the Government of India saw China’s attitude at the time of Kovid-19 and in the Galvan Valley, the government started cracking down on Chinese companies working in India. This is probably the result of that. Because these companies had earlier refused for such a proposal.

Other companies also export.
Samsung and Apple already sell smartphones made in India in the global market. That is why China’s Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo companies can also sell mobile phones made in India in Africa, Middle-East, Latin America and parts of Europe as well as in Pakistan.
PLI scheme will help
For foreign companies doing manufacturing in India, some exemption is given by the government under PLI (Production Linked Incentive). Under this scheme, these companies can open the way to foreign market for mobile phones being made in India. Which Samsung and Apple are already doing. However, behind this move of these companies, it is also being seen as increasing pressure from the government.
