Cousins died due to drowning in the pond

Cousins and cousins drowned while bathing in a pond with friends in Chitrakoot, UP. The villagers arrived on information and brought them to CHC. Doctors declared him dead. Chunaki Devi, a resident of Saligpur in Pahari police station area, told that she had come to her maternal home in Pimpraund village of Mau police station area a week ago with her son Chhotu Mishra. On Sunday morning, brother Balgovind Pandey’s son Shani Pandey (11) and Chhotu Mishra (12) along with some other friends of the village had gone to take bath in Jokha pond, half a kilometer away.
Chhotu and Shani started drowning in deep water. Seeing this other friends got scared. Went to his home without telling anyone. When Shani and Chhotu did not return home for a long time, the family members went home and asked their friends. Scared friends cried and told that both of them had drowned in the pond. On this, the family members and villagers immediately reached the pond and started searching for both of them.
After about half an hour, Chhotu and Shani were taken out of the pond. They took him to CHC. The doctor declared him dead after examination. When the family members did not believe their death, they took both of them to a private hospital in Shivrajpur. There also the doctors declared him dead. Police station in-charge Ajit Pandey said that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
