Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga Movie Review: He turned out to be a thief and ran very fast, Sunny showed his skills with Yami Gautam

‘Sau mein laga dhaaga, chor nikal ke bhaga…’ Everyone must have been brought up with these lines at least once in them. Director Ajay Singh decides the theme of his film with these funny lines from childhood. The film ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’ has been released on Netflix today. Actor Sunny Kaushal is once again trying to show his skills in cinema. On the other hand, Yami Gautam, who has now booked her seat on OTT through films like ‘Lost’, ‘Thursday’ and ‘Dasvi’, has again brought her new film on this platform. This film has been released on Netflix at 12 o’clock. Let us say that if you are planning to watch this film on Friday evening in this period of cold weather and rain, then it is right or time waste.

First of all, talking about the story, this suspense drama thriller begins with the sweet-looking Yami and Sunny i.e. Neha and Ankit. Ankit is traveling in business class and he starts liking airhostess Neha. Then they bump into each other, meet for a while and then fall in love. Till now the story is easy, simple and then the layers start opening up and Ankit along with Neha plans a heist. Diamonds are to be stolen, that too 40,000 feet above the ground i.e. in a plane. Things go awry when this plan of theft gets a twist of plane hijack. Whether it is theft or hijacking or something else, all these questions have been answered by the director in his film itself.

First of all, talking about the speed and plot of the story, ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’ is a fun watch. The speed of the story is full on which is very important at least for a platform like OTT. You get attached to the film from the very first scene and then there will not be a moment when you feel like ‘let’s take a break, ya paka rahe hai yaar…’. However, in a thriller, you can move ahead with the songs in order to know the story as quickly as possible.

In the first half of the story, seeing the over-sweet Sunny Kaushal, you will repeatedly feel that it is going to mess something up. He is doing ‘Neha ji, Neha ji’ too much. But in the second half, when the story starts in the plane and hijack happens, things happen so fast that your focus remains on the events, you do not get the time to find the mystery. The best thing about this Netflix film is its length, which contributes a lot to keeping the story tight. In this story of 1 hour 50 minutes, you do not feel a single scene drawn.

Talking about performance, Yami Gautam has got hooked to OTT and nowadays she is giving such a great performance that she is being seen a lot. Yami surprises in this film too. Innocent in the first part and Yami fighting with the hijackers in the second half, you will like it. (I’m trying my best not to give a single spoiler of the story.) Actor Vicky Kaushal’s brother Sunny Kaushal is trying to make his place in the world of cinema and ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga’ is a good effort. The good thing about Sunny is that this little one of ‘Kaushal Brothers’ has not resorted to ‘Jauhar’ to show his ‘skill’. Sunny is choosing and doing his kind of cinema. The third important character in the film is Sharad Kelkar, who adds to his performance. His entry is only in the second half, but when he comes, he likes it a lot.

Director Ajay Singh’s ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga’ is a fun suspense thriller, which will not let you get bored for 1 hour 55 minutes. 3.5 stars to this movie from my side.
