CJI Felicitate Cook’s daughter: Talent is not dependent on circumstances. Cook Ajay Kumar Samal’s daughter Pragya has proved this in the Supreme Court. He has received scholarship from two universities of America to study law. Because of this, CJI DY Chandrachud honored him on Wednesday (13 March).
Welcoming Pragya in the court, CJI DY Chandrachud said that the daughter has proved that if you have the passion and vitality to achieve something, you get resources and facilities to achieve it.

According to the report of news agency PTI, Chief Justice Chandrachud, while wishing Pragya all the best, said that it should not happen that due to lack of resources, the natural talent of a student does not reach its destination. The American University has agreed to give scholarship to Pragya to study for Master’s degree in Law and Jurisprudence. When CJI Chandrachud came to know about this, he discussed it with his fellow judges and decided that Pragya should be honoured.

After this, a function was organized at the Supreme Court Bar Association, in which Pragya was honoured. Along with Pragya, the CJI also wore a shawl as a mark of respect to her parents. Both were very happy, because the Chief Justice and all the lawyers of the same court where he used to cook food, have clapped for him today.
There were tears in Pragya’s eyes, what did she say?
Pragya had tears in her eyes after hearing the sound of applause and the best wishes of the CJI. She emotionally said that she will work hard to live up to everyone’s expectations. While supporting her parents, she said that she is overwhelmed with this honor and will work hard.
