CJI DY Chandrachud: Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud on Wednesday (February 28) said that legal power is not enough for a judge and the strongest tool for him is his desire to understand human life and people’s problems.

‘Top court will benefit from diversity of experience of judges’
The Chief Justice (CJI) said that more importantly, the apex court will benefit from the diversity of his experience. The journey of Justice Sharma, Justice Masih, Justice Mehta and Justice Varale reflects their commitment towards understanding human life and improving it with the help of our laws. CJI mentioned the High Court decisions of judges
On this occasion, CJI Chandrachud also mentioned in detail about each judge and the special judgments given by him. The CJI said that while sitting in various High Courts, these judges showed their sensitivity towards the marginalized section of the society, especially the disabled.
