Babu Devendra Singh of Basic Education Department, who was caught red handed by Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment (Vigilance) Agra while accepting a bribe of Rs. 30,000, was suspended by JD Secondary Education Council Aligarh on 28 June. On the other hand, after the arrest of Babu, there was panic and silence among the employees of BSA office. Everyone was seen discussing the vigilance action.
Let us tell you that Devendra Singh is posted as a clerk in the Government Girls Inter College of the Secondary Education Council located in Ramanpur of the city. For some time he was working in the BSA office on attachment. A teacher had complained to the Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment (Vigilance) Agra against clerk Devendra Singh for demanding a bribe of Rs 30 thousand.
On the complaint, the vigilance team which reached here on 27th June caught Babu Devendra Singh red handed while taking a bribe of 30 thousand rupees from the BSA office in Ramanpur to the DIET. The vigilance team arrested him and took him to Agra. Now on 28th June, Joint Director Secondary Education Council Aligarh Division Manoj Giri suspended clerk Devendra. The action taken by JD has created panic among other employees.
On the other hand, after the arrest of Babu by the Vigilance, there was panic among the officers and employees of the BSA office on June 28. The employees who reached the office were seen discussing the news published in the newspapers about the arrest of the clerk by the Vigilance. The employees kept talking to each other about the arrest of Babu.
