A youth died in a road accident in Nalanda, Bihar on Tuesday night. The matter is near Kabirpur village of Manpur police station and Shekhopursarai police station area. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar (29), son of Anil Prasad, resident of Katrisarai police station area. On Wednesday, the family reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem of the body.

The family members of deceased Deepak Kumar told that after finishing his duty, Deepak was returning home on his bike on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile an unknown vehicle hit him. When he did not return home late in the evening, a search was started for him. Contact was also made on mobile, but no response was received. After this, information about mobile location was taken by going to the local police station. During the search, Deepak was found lying on the roadside near Kabirpur village. After that, he was hurriedly admitted to Pawapuri Medical College late at night. Where the doctor declared him dead.

According to the information, Deepak Kumar was posted as clerk in Bihar Sharif Collectorate. Deepak got married in the month of July 2023 itself. After getting information about the incident, there was a wave of mourning among the colleagues. At the same time, the atmosphere of the hospital became sad due to the screams of the family members.

Pawapuri OP in-charge Anita Kumari said that the police has started the process of conducting post-mortem of the dead body. Whatever application is received from the family members, it will be sent to the concerned police station and further action will be taken.
