Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before 2017, there was an atmosphere of chaos, anarchy and crime in Uttar Pradesh. Because the thinking of the previous government was narrow. They had no vision. Today there is rule of law in the state and there is a better environment for investment. This is the reason why Uttar Pradesh has become India’s dream destination in terms of investment. Taking a dig at the opposition, he said that for whom it was impossible to even think about investing in Uttar Pradesh. Those people should see that our government has made the impossible possible. CM Yogi said that through the Global Investors Summit held in February 2023, the state has received investment proposals worth more than Rs 40 crore. Out of that, investment proposals worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore have been brought to the ground by the lotus hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the Ground Breaking Ceremony.
CM Yogi distributed incentives worth Rs 1,333 crore to 32 industrial units and letters of comfort to 10 industrial units for investment of more than Rs 4,500 crore in a program organized at Lok Bhavan on Friday. During this, he said that during the tenure of the previous government, riots used to take place in the state every day. Curfew was imposed for months. When a person is not safe in the state, how will the capital be safe. CM Yogi said that the youth here were facing an identity crisis in the previous government. At the same time, today under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the situation of ease of doing business and ease of living has improved in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi said that 27 sectoral policies are implemented in the state. To make these policies, we took suggestions from stakeholders. We added the points that could be added while staying within the scope of governance. He also thanked the investors.

CM Yogi said that to solve the problems of entrepreneurs, our government has deployed 125 CM Fellows across the state, who are working in collaboration with the Industrial Development Department. Our government is working on a zero tolerance policy against crime, criminals and corruption. He said that the government has no hesitation in implementing the commitments it has made to investors. Under the policy of governance, the double engine government will break all barriers to provide convenience to investors. He said that today Uttar Pradesh is not a barrier to India’s development but is working as a growth engine for India’s development to achieve PM Modi’s resolve to make India developed by 2047.
CM Yogi said that if industry and institutions join hands, then an excellent platform for skill development is created. He told the entrepreneurs that by joining institutions together, you will get good manpower. Under the PM and CM Incentive Scheme, the government will give half the honorarium to those youth. CM Yogi said that our government has taken forward the process of setting up the new industrial city of Bida between Jhansi and Kanpur in 36000 acres of land. In our government, an international airport is being built in Jewar. With the establishment of Bida, we will provide airport facilities there.
CM Yogi said that we are creating a State Capital Region by connecting Lucknow and its surrounding 6 districts. He said that today electricity is available in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh without any discrimination. We have provided open access facility to the industry. They can also get energy through renewable energy. CM Yogi said that in the last seven and a half years, the infrastructure of the state has been improved. Today the expressway, highway and air connectivity in the state is excellent.
