CM Yogi said: Free ration is being given to 80 crore people in the country, Bread Crisis in Pakistan

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who came to inaugurate the three-day Kaushambi festival, after welcoming Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday enumerated the achievements of the double engine government in the country. Taking a jibe at the neighboring country Pakistan, the Chief Minister said that the government is distributing free ration to 80 crore poor families of the country, whereas in Pakistan there is a dearth of bread.

Chief Minister Yogi said that for the first time he had come to participate in the Kaushambi festival in the year 2018 on the invitation of MP Vinod Sonkar. After this, now there is a chance to participate in the festival again. Home Minister Amit Shah and the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 117 projects costing Rs 612.94 crore from the venue.

The Chief Minister said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, work was done to provide houses to more than 46 lakh people in UP alone. Toilets were built in two crore 61 lakh houses. One crore 75 lakh women were given free gas connections. More than 10 lakh street vendors were given the benefit of Swanidhi Yojana. 35 lakh families were benefited from the Swamitva scheme.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that sports talents will now get a chance to flourish in the Doaba of Maa Ganga and Yamuna, which includes Ramayana, Buddhist and modern historical background. He announced the construction of sports grounds in every village and block as well as stadiums at the district level. Referring to the history, it is believed in the ancient background that Lord Shri Ram had spent a night in this district during his exile and the temple of Shaktipeeth’s mother Sheetla with historical and mythological traditions attracts people towards itself.
