Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to the newly selected 7720 Lekhpals in the Mission Rozgar program organized in Lok Bhavan on Wednesday. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that the appointment process for 4700 more Lekhpal posts will also be completed soon. For this, the requisition has been sent to the commission. As soon as this process is completed, the shortage of Lekhpals in the state will end. He also called upon the newly selected Lekhpals to perform their duties with full honesty and transparency.
Yogi said that this appointment process has been completed with complete honesty and transparency. There was no discrimination in this. No recommendation was required. In such a situation, it is your (newly selected Lekhpals) responsibility to work in terms of ease of doing business in the state. Do special work to make the life of the poor easier.
CM told the Lekhpals that they should give their positive cooperation in the investment possibilities. The work should be completed within the time limit set for caste, residence and income certificate. The proceedings related to inheritance, transfer, measurement and land use should be completed on time. You should have a good image among the people and people should not be afraid of the name of Lekhpal.
CM said that violent incidents happen in rural and urban areas for one or two feet of land. If we measure and demarcate land on time, there will be no dispute. If some powerful land mafia is occupying government or poor people’s land, then we should take big action there with anti-land mafia task force. If any proposal has come for investment somewhere, then it should be taken forward in a timely manner. Provide relief to people on time in disasters like floods.
He said that do not do any work in a wrong way and use technology. The entire revenue system is being digitized. If any person living in a rural area is traditionally living in a house built on the land of the village society, then he can get the ownership rights of his land through Gharauni, for this we have provided this facility to more than 63 lakh people so far. By the end of this year, we will provide this facility to all 1.25 crore families.
Those who tried to create obstacles did not succeed
CM Yogi said that in order to take this appointment process forward in a time bound manner, in the year 2022, the Revenue Department had given its requisition to the Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The commission completed the selection process with full honesty and transparency, but it is the nature of some people to create obstacles in every good work. There were also attempts to create obstacles in the distribution of appointment letters to the newly selected Lekhpals, but the Revenue Department and the Subordinate Services Selection Commission fought for it and ultimately got the decision in their favor from the Supreme Court and today these appointment letters are being provided to 7720 newly selected youth as per their aspirations. Apart from this, we have sent requisitions for 4700 more new appointments and are going to complete that process soon. As soon as this process is completed, the number of 3837 Lekhpals who should be appointed in the state will be completed.
