On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was one degree above normal at 24.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was also one degree above normal at 10.0 degrees Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at the Lodi Road weather station. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded four notches above normal at 26.8 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature at 8.9 degree Celsius. The highest maximum temperature was 27.9 degree at Pitampura centre.
On Wednesday, the day-long winds led to a drop in the maximum temperature, but still it was recorded one degree above normal. In general, from December 14 to December 16, the maximum temperature is usually recorded at 23.2 degrees and the minimum temperature is 8.9 degrees. While from December 17 to December 21, the maximum temperature is 22.5 and the minimum temperature is 8.0 degree Celsius. According to the department, there will be no significant change in the temperature on Thursday and the sky will be clear. There is no possibility of dense fog right now.

In Delhi on Wednesday, winds blowing at a speed of 25-35 km per hour throughout the day made one feel the cold. Due to this, the maximum and minimum temperature remained one degree higher than normal. However, for the past several days, the maximum temperature crossing 26 degrees was recorded less as compared to other days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any significant change in the weather till December 20. The department has expressed the possibility of strong winds blowing in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana on Thursday as well.
