Congress posted on social media platform X and wrote, “What is happening? Now NTA has cancelled the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET exam. Earlier UGC-NET exam was cancelled, while NEET exam is already surrounded by complaints of paper leak and rigging. The future of lakhs of students of the country is in limbo, but Narendra Modi He is happy in his own world.”
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh also posted on Twitter, “Another NTA exam postponed. This time it’s CSIR-UGC-NET. Clearly, NTA has become Narendra Modi’s trauma agency for the youth.”

NTA told why the exam had to be postponed
NTA has informed that the exam is being postponed due to logistical reasons. NTA has advised the candidates to keep checking the official website for new updates. Earlier on Wednesday (19 June), the Union Education Ministry had ordered the cancellation of the UGC-NET exam and handed over its investigation to the CBI.
Earlier, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had targeted the central government on the issue of alleged paper leak in UGC-NET and NEET-UG examinations. He had alleged that PM Modi is either unable to stop the paper leak or does not want to stop it.
