“We have now been informed that the rules will be notified before the Lok Sabha elections. This makes it clear that its purpose was always to be a weapon to polarize voters just before the elections,” he said.

Owaisi called CAA anti-constitutional
Earlier, regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act, All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi called it anti-constitutional and said that it violates the law. Not only this, it has been built on the basis of religion.

Government will issue rules of CAA
In a statement from the government, it was said that the rules of CAA Lok Sabha Elections Will be notified before. Apart from this, the government will also issue rules related to this soon. Once the rules are issued, the law will be implemented.

Non-Muslims will get Indian citizenship
As soon as CAA is implemented, the persecuted non-Muslims from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who came to India till 31 December 2014 will be given Indian citizenship. People from Sikh, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and Parsi communities who have come to India to obtain citizenship can apply online.

People applying for citizenship will have to tell when they will come to India. For this they will not need a passport or any other document.
