Congress Leader Sachin Pilot questions RPSC credibility demands reorganization ANN


Rajasthan News: Congress has raised questions on the credibility of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has demanded reorganization of RPSC.

He said that in September 2023, ED had arrested RPSC member Babulal Katara. Katara was arrested in the second grade teacher recruitment exam paper leak case. Now SOG has arrested former RPSC member Ramuram Raika in the sub-inspector recruitment exam paper leak case.

Sachin Pilot said that the action of ED and SOG in the paper leak case has put a question mark on the credibility of a prestigious constitutional institution like RPSC. He said that earlier also objections have been raised on the functioning and selection process of RPSC. He said that the youth have been hurt due to the leak of papers of dozens of examinations including REET, Second Grade Teacher, Sub Inspector, Junior Engineer, Forest Guard.

The credibility of RPSC is under question

The dreams of lakhs of unemployed youth of the state have been shattered. Disappointment has spread among the parents and families of the children. The youth are beginning to see a dark future. Sachin Pilot said that lakhs of youth of the state are preparing for exams by studying under adverse circumstances. Parents are working hard day and night to provide educational resources to their children. New revelations in RPSC every day are creating a situation of doubt that the hard work may go in vain if the paper is leaked.

Sachin Pilot demanded reorganization

Pilot said that in the budget session, the government has announced to provide four lakh jobs in the state. One lakh jobs will be provided by March 2025. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of the government to maintain transparency in the selection system of the examination for the job. It is the responsibility of the government to restore the trust of the parents towards the institution conducting the examination.
